We need help !!! As you are aware the bar is now open Tuesday to Friday evenings 7pm to 11pm. And Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 11pm, what you may not be aware of is the fact that Matt (bar manager) has now moved to Leeds and can only work occasionally. We desperately need more bar staff, so if you know anyone who might be interested get them to get in touch ASAP. There are 50 hours work a week to be covered, so there should be something to suit most people, even if someone is only available for one evening a week it should be possible to accommodate them. Previous experience would be useful but not essential as training will be given. On a lighter note please feel free to drop in and sample our wide range of beers and wines etc. The bar is the primary source of income for the facility and at the moment it is being severely under used during the evenings. The main clubroom is available for private hiring both day & night. ( Parties or business conferences etc ) At weekends we screen 3 Premiership matches every Saturday and usually 2 on Sunday on the big screen as well as all the Champions League matches. Anyone interested in a quiz night ??? Let us know and we will try to organise it. Better still volunteer to organise it and we will publicise it ! Enquiries have been received regarding club organised social functions, the house committee is seeking volunteers from all factions of the club to create a joint working social committee to put on regular events, anyone interested let me know.
